Mixing it up…

A mixture of WIPs today…

First up – working on remodelling the Hemlock flight pod into something less Eldar and bigger to show off the pilot (yet to be built):img_7885

Here it is connected to the hull – much more blending of shapes to go before it looks good:img_7886

Onto the VTOL thrusters – you can see the wing nubs in place now, and the at-right-angles part is the putty ‘buck’ form for the rotator:img_7887

Here’s the buck on the vacuum chamber, ready for forming:img_7890

A perfect pull!img_7889

4 x parts were made, then glued over the grey plastic parts (from the Hemlock kit):img_7891

Glued, sanded, puttied and awaiting 2nd sanding – also, the dark green parts are the wings (from a 1/48th Apache kit, modified heavily):img_7892

While ship parts dried and set, I finally got the arms to fit the Kroot – I somehow ended up with the incorrect left arm, so a bit of jiggery was required to get it into place – going to hide the shoulder with armour:img_7895

And – while I await delivery of another plait bit – tried a test run of another hair design for Illyria Winter:img_7893

While not as ‘disciplined’ – as discussed with KrautScientist in the last post – I like the flow:img_7894

Thoughts?

Thanks for looking!
