Used some 1/72 Cobra hull parts to straighten the lines of the curvy Hemlock, and added the inner-rotator parts (the white styrene tubing):
So now I’m trying to decide if I leave the rotators exposed as in the next two pics:
Or… Go with the aerodynamic curved piece over the rotator, as in the next two pics:

I’ll be honest: I really couldn’t see what you were going for in the first post, especially with the base model being an Eldar aircraft. But the whole thing is really coming together rather beautifully now. Thumbs up!
If I have one gripe, it’s that the model does seem a bit too sleek and classically SciFi for the 40k universe, even for an Inquisition vessel. If there’s any way to make it look a bit more vintage without resorting to glueing candles and purity seals to every surface (yeah, I am looking at you, Dark Angels bomber), that would make it fit the setting even better: I think WW II aircraft or something like the Vertibird from the Fallout universe would be perfect for inspiration — the latter, in particular, seems futuristic and modern, but also has a decidedly vintage, grounded aesthetic that would feel pretty much at home in 40k.

The addition of the underside ‘troop’ section with hopefully help chunk out her sleekness, though I am going for a slightly less clunky look than the regular Imperial flyers.
The classic sci-fi look definitely needs 40k-ificaition, by detailing with more 40k hardware rather than the modern aircraft kits.
There will be no candles nor purity seals!

I certainly have faith in your abilities! 🙂 That Deathwatch dropship is basically an ideal representation of what a cutting edge black ops dropship should look like in the 40k universe, in my opinion, but then it’s also an Astartes vessel, with all the clunkiness that entails. So it’ll be interesting to see your take on a more, for lack of a better word, “civilian” version of the same thing.
